About Down
Down is a 2019 American short horror film directed by Daniel Stamm and written by Kent Kubena. The film is a part of "Into The Dark," a horror anthology series by Hulu. The plot revolves around two office workers who get trapped in an elevator over a long Valentine Day's weekend. What at first turns into a romantic connection quickly takes a terrifying turn when strange happenings begin to occur.
Making / Production
Down was produced by Blumhouse Productions, which has a reputation for creating successful, low-budget horror films. The making of the movie required intense choreography to use the confined elevator space effectively, and the climax was a great play in direction and detailed camera work.
