About the Movie - Up
Released in 2009, Up is an animated comedy-drama adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The film narrates the story of Carl Fredricksen, a widower and retired balloon salesman, who ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to fulfill his dream of visiting the lost land of Paradise Falls in South America. Unexpectedly, he discovers a young boy scout named Russell hid on his house becoming his unexpected companion throughout his journey.

The movie was directed by Pete Docter and produced by Jonas Rivera. It was the first Pixar movie to be presented in Disney Digital 3-D. The artwork for the movie was inspired by multiple visits to Venezuela's Tepui mountains and Angel Falls, the world's highest waterfall.
Actors
