Adventure Time: Distant Lands is a four-part web television special that aired on HBO Max from 2020. This series is a continuation of the animated television series Adventure Time, which aired on Cartoon Network from 2010 to 2018. The new series revolves around its central characters, embarking on new quests and going on individual journeys in distant lands beyond the magical Land of Ooo.

Making / Production

The series is produced by Cartoon Network Studios and Frederator Studios. The special was developed by Adam Muto, who served as a showrunner and executive producer. The animation for the series was done by Rough Draft Studios in South Korea.

Actors

• Jeremy Shada plays Finn the Human, who is a brave adventurer and always ready to help those in need. Shada gives the character a youthful, energetic tone that fits well.
• John DiMaggio as Jake the Dog. Finn's adoptive brother and best friend. DiMaggio brilliantly delivers Jake's laid-back and whimsical persona.
• Hynden Walch as Princess Bubblegum. The ruler of the Candy Kingdom. Walch excellently portrays the character's intelligence and maturity.
