Adventures of the Gummi Bears is a popular animated series that was released from 1985-1991. The show is centred on the adventures of a small group of anthropomorphic bears known as the Gummi Bears. They live in the hidden city of Gummi Glen and use a magical drink called Gummiberry Juice to bounce at incredible heights. The Gummi Bears are constantly thwarting the attempts of Duke Igthorn who seeks to use their magical secrets for evil purposes.

Making / Production

The series was initiated by Walt Disney Company. Michael Eisner, the CEO at the time, was inspired by his kids' love for gummy bear candies. Inspired, Disney created a fantastical world revolving around these charming characters. The resulting series was both a critical and commercial success, and its high-quality animation set a benchmark for other Saturday morning cartoons.
