Composed of breath-taking footage from three renowned conservation centers in Alaska, the series journeys into the wilds of the Pacific Northwest to follow the work of animal caregivers - including veterinarians, biologists, and rehabilitation experts - as they work tirelessly to preserve the state’s wildlife.

The series is cooperatively produced by Nat Geo WILD and ABC. With modern camera technology and unprecedented access to conservation centers in Alaska, the production team was able to capture the reality of caregiving on the last frontier, showcasing the wildlife and the stunning natural scenery of Alaska.
