About Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem

Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem is the second part of the Alien VS Predator franchise which released in 2007. Directed by Colin and Greg Strause (also known as the Brothers Strause), it unfolds a harrowing tale in which the residents of Gunnison, Colorado, find themselves caught in the middle of a fierce battle between the deadly extraterrestrial species, a Predator and the Xenomorphs.

In the detailed plot, a Predator spaceship carrying live Alien specimens and several facehuggers crashes in the town. The Predator's attempts to control the situation result in the creation of a Predalien hybrid. The local sheriff, his team, and a handful of town's locals team up to fend off both creatures.

Making / Production

The Brothers Strause aimed to make the film intense and grisly to capture the essence of the original franchises. They employed high-speed cameras for slow-motion action sequences, expanded upon the Predator's usage of its gadgets, and reprised the ominous, tension-filled atmosphere from the original films.
