About Amphibia

"Amphibia" is an animated television series that premiered in 2019 and was launched by Disney Channel. Created by Matt Braly, the show follows the extraordinary expeditions of a 13-year-old girl named Anne Boonchuy, who is magically transported to a rural marshland full of toadstool houses and anthropomorphic amphibians. Endearing herself to a friendly frog named Sprig, Anne soon embarks on diverse adventures, gradually revealing the secrets of Amphibia.

Making/Production

Matt Braly, the show’s creator, was inspired by his grandmother's tales about her life in rural Thailand to create the amphibian world. His deep family ties and love for classic adventure games also influenced the series. The animation tasks were assigned to Rough Draft Korea and Sugarcube Animation Studio.
