The film is a prequel to 2013's The Conjuring, focusing on the origins of the Annabelle doll found in the first film. It follows a young couple expecting their first child when a vintage doll, Annabelle, becomes possessed after a satanic cult invades their home.

Annabelle was produced by New Line Cinema, RatPac-Dune Entertainment, and The Safran Company, and was released by Warner Bros. The script of the movie is written by Gary Dauberman. The film grossed over $257 million against a budget of $6.5 million.

Actors
