"Appaloosa" is an American western film based on the 2005 novel "Appaloosa" by Robert B. Parker. Released in 2008, the film was directed by Ed Harris, who also starred in the movie. The plot revolves around two lawmen, Virgil Cole (Ed Harris) and Everett Hitch (Viggo Mortensen), who are hired to defend a lawless 1880s town from a ruthless rancher, Randall Bragg (Jeremy Irons). Their task becomes more complicated when a new widow, Allie (Renee Zellweger), arrives in town stirring up emotions and tension among the men.
