About Aquaman

"Aquaman" (2018) is a superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. The movie plot revolves around the story of Arthur Curry (Aquaman), who discovers that he is the rightful heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. He steps forward to reclaim his birthright while forging his destiny to become a hero to the world. He must retrieve the legendary Trident of Atlan and embrace his destiny as protector of the deep.

Making/Production

Directed by James Wan, the production of "Aquaman" was carried out by Peter Safran and Rob Cowan. The film was shot in Australia’s Gold Coast, Newfoundland, Canada and Morocco. The underwater scenes were specially challenging and required innovative cinematography techniques.
