About Aquaman (Series)

The "Aquaman" animated series by Filmation, hailed from 1967, takes viewers on an undersea adventure with Aquaman, the King of Atlantis, and his super-powered allies. With his ability to breathe underwater and fly through the ocean skies, Aquaman manages to keep the sea safe from a variety of threats, including alien invaders, gigantic sea creatures, and vengeful sorcerers.

Making / Production

The Aquaman series was produced by Lou Scheimer, Norm Prescott and Hal Sutherland. It aired as part of The Superman / Aquaman Hour of Adventure, followed by several other superhero segments. All of Aquaman's episodes were directed by Hal Sutherland.
