Atlantis is a British joint venture series produced by Urban Myth Films. The series was commissioned by BBC One and co-produced with BBC America. Its filming primarily took place in Wales and Morocco. It was created by Johnny Capps, Julian Murphy and Howard Overman, and was immensely influenced by Greek mythology.
