AZUR LANE is a popular Japanese anime series that was first aired in 2019. Based on the Chinese mobile game of the same name, the series revolves around a group of personified World War II warships. The main narrative focuses on the camaraderie and rivalry between the numerous factions of warships existing in this unique parallel universe. United by a common enemy, the Sirens, these groups must learn to put aside their differences to save humanity.

The high-octane anime was developed by Bibury Animation Studios and was initially aired on Tokyo MX and Sun TV. Brilliantly directed by Tensho, the man behind popular anime like 'Grisaia', 'Kinmoza', and 'Rewrite', AZUR LANE showcases his keen sense for action sequences and compelling storytelling.

Actors

  • Yui Ishikawa played the role of Enterprise, a stoic and determined warrior. Her voice acting truly brought out the depth and complexity of the character.
  • Mai Nakahara voiced Akagi, a cunning and ambitious character. Her performance added an interesting layer to the story.
