Bambi II, released in 2006, is an animated feature film from Disney Toon Studios and is the midquel to the 1942 classic, Bambi. The storyline takes place in the middle of the original film's storyline, within the period of time where Bambi grows from a fawn to a young stag. In this movie, Bambi embarks on an adventure learning both the skills needed to survive and discovering who he is, under the watchful guidance of his father, The Great Prince.

Making / Production

The production was done by DisneyToon Studios, directed by Brian Pimental and produced by Jim Ballsanti, Jeffrey Moznett, and Carolyn Bates, with the screenplay written by Alicia Kirk. The movie took about five years to complete, illustrating the commitment towards maintaining the visual continuity and integrity of the original Bambi film.
