Band of Brothers is a ten-part miniseries produced by HBO and DreamWorks, adapted from Stephen E. Ambrose's non-fiction book of the same name. The plot revolves around Easy Company, 2nd Battalion of the 506th Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army from initial military training at Camp Toccoa, Georgia and journey through major locales in Europe to the end of World War II.

Making / Production

Band of Brothers was developed by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks following their collaboration on the 1998 World War II film Saving Private Ryan. The series has a total budget of approximately $125 million, making it one of the most expensive television series made at that time.

• Damian Lewis as Major Richard "Dick" Winters - Leader of the Easy Company, Lewis' character portrays leadership under extreme conditions with exceptional calm and strategic brilliance.
