About Batman Forever

"Batman Forever," directed by Joel Schumacher and released in 1995, is the third installment of Warner Bros.' initial Batman film series. The story primarily revolves around Batman (Bruce Wayne), who must battle Two-Face and The Riddler with the assistance of an amorous psychologist and a young circus acrobat who becomes his sidekick, Robin.

Making / Production

The movie was made by Warner Bros., under the directors Joel Schumacher. The transition from the previous dark and brooding representation of Batman's universe to a vibrant, neon-filled Gotham City was a major shift in aesthetics and was largely dictated by Schumacher and received mixed reviews from critics and the audience.

  • Chris O'Donnell as Robin - Played the role of Batman's sidekick who grows from a brash young acrobat to a fully formed superhero.
  • Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face - Jones played the schizophrenic, justice-obsessed villain who cannot make a decision without his trusty coin flip.
