"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is an American superhero film that was released in 2016. Directed by Zack Snyder, it's a follow up to 2013's "Man of Steel" and the second installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The movie pits two iconic superheroes, Batman and Superman, against each other, setting the stage for a thrilling climax.

After Man of Steel's release, the film was announced in 2014, with principal photography taking place in Detroit, Michigan and Chicago, Illinois.
