He encounters a series of comic misadventures when he decides to manage a promising young singer.

Making / Production

Actors

  • John Travolta as Chili Palmer - Travolta continues to play the smooth-talking, unflappable former mobster from 'Get Shorty,' and his comedic timing is impeccable in this sequel.
  • Uma Thurman as Edie Athens - Thurman plays the role of the recently widowed, beautiful, and talented music mogul who partners with Palmer.
  • Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as Elliot Wilhelm - In a humorous departure from his usual roles, Johnson plays a bodyguard with a talent for singing and a dream of making it big in the music industry.
  • Vince Vaughn as Raji - Vaughn delivers a hilariously over-the-top performance as a wannabe music tycoon with more bravado than business sense.
