About Being Erica

'Being Erica' is a Canadian comedy-drama television series that aired on CBC from January 5, 2009 to December 12, 2011. Created by Jana Sinyor, the series was originally announced by the CBC as "The Session".

The show revolves around Erica Strange, a woman who begins seeing a therapist to deal with regrets in her life, only to discover the therapist (Dr. Tom) has the ability to send her back in time to actually relive these events and change them.

Throughout the series, Erica continues to deal with her life, her relationship with family and friends, and the challenges and rewards of her therapy.

'Being Erica' was produced by Temple Street Productions and was shot in Toronto, Canada. It aired in the United States on SOAPnet and later on Hulu. It was set in the city of Toronto, often featuring recognizable landmarks.
