About Beneath the Darkness

'Beneath the Darkness’ is a thriller-horror movie directed by Martin Guigui, released in the year 2011. The film revolves around a group of high school students in Smithville, Texas. They suspect their former football hero, turned into a respected mortician of murdering his wife. As they delve deeper into the mystery, they discover a deep well of darkness hidden by the man beneath his charismatic exterior. The plot thickens when they themselves become targets of his malicious intents.
