About Big Brother

Big Brother that first aired in the year 2000, is a reality television game show franchise produced and created by John de Mol Jr. The show follows a group of contestants called housemates, who live together in a specially-constructed house that is isolated from the outside world.

The housemates are continuously monitored during their stay in the house by live television cameras as well as personal audio microphones. During their time in the house, they are not allowed any form of contact to or from the outside world. The contestants are voted off one by one and the last one remaining in the end of the season wins the cash prize.
