About Blended

Blended is a 2014 American romantic comedy film that revolves around the lives of two single parents, Jim and Lauren, who, after a terrible blind date, cross paths once again on a family vacation in Africa. Whilst initially the pair take an extreme dislike for one another, over time feelings develop as they discover a connection between them amidst the African safari venture.

Directed by Frank Coraci and written by Ivan Menchell and Clare Sera, Blended was released on May 23, 2014, by Warner Bros. The film's backdrop is primarily South Africa, which doubles in for the African safari tour. The movie represents the third collaboration between Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, following the popular romantic comedies, The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates.
