Blood is an enthralling movie released in the year 2023. The movie revolves around Jess, a single mother, who moves her two children back to her childhood home in the face of uncertain circumstances. However, their lives take a nightmarish turn when their family dog unexpectedly bites Jess’s son, inflicting him with a horrific infection. William Shakespeare’s quote, “Conscience makes cowards of us all”, comes to life when Jess's principles are put to an ultimate test with a cure that could potentially keep her son alive, but at an unimaginably deadly cost.

Making/Production

Creating 'Blood' was a journey which was fraught with challenges, but immense learning. The idea of portraying somber horror and moral dilemmas in a single narrative needed meticulous planning and execution on all levels. The estrangement, despair and increasing fear throughout the movie were visually expressed with the help of effective cinematography and sound effects. Set in an isolated, rustic ancestral home accentuated the overall eerie ambiance.
