About Body of Proof
Body of Proof is an American medical drama television series that ran on ABC from March 29, 2011, to May 28, 2013, and starred Dana Delany as medical examiner Dr. Megan Hunt. The show focuses on Hunt's efforts to balance the demands of her professional life with her personal life. After a car accident caused her to have a life-changing spinal injury, her medical license was revoked. Instead of leaving the medical profession entirely, she became a medical examiner.
Making / Production
The series was created by Christopher Murphey and produced by ABC Studios. Body of Proof was initially supposed to premiere in the fall season of 2010 but was delayed until 2011 due to creative changes. The series was filmed in Rhode Island and Philadelphia and was cancelled by ABC after the third season.
