The 2013 adaptation of Bonnie & Clyde is based on the true story of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, notorious American criminals who traveled across the Central United States during the Great Depression. Bonnie, a young woman bored with her mundane life, is instantly drawn to the charismatic Clyde. The two soon embark on a life of crime, robbing multiple banks and constantly staying one step ahead of the law. Their relationship strengthens as they find thrill in their criminal exploits, drawing attention from the media and becoming folk heroes in the process.
