The Book of Boba Fett is an American television series created for the streaming service Disney+. As a spin-off from The Mandalorian, it features the Star Wars character Boba Fett from that series and the original Star Wars trilogy. The Book of Boba Fett is a thrilling journey that follows the legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand as they navigate the underworld of the galaxy and stake their claim on the territory once ruled by the notorious Jabba the Hutt.

Making / Production

The series was produced by Lucasfilm, Fairview Entertainment, and Golem Creations and premiered on Disney+ on December 29, 2021. Jon Favreau served as its showrunner, with Dave Filoni and Robert Rodriguez also acting as executive producers. Rodriguez was also tapped to direct several episodes, after impressing viewers with his work in The Mandalorian.
