About Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue
The "Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue" is an American animated film based on the characters from the 1986 novel "The Brave Little Toaster: A Bedtime Story For Small Appliances" by Thomas M. Disch. This movie is sequel to the 1987 movie "The Brave Little Toaster" and precedes "The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars". This film was released directly to video in 1997.
The film's plot centers on Toaster and his appliance buddies Lampy, Blanky, Radio, and Kirby, who are now living with their original owner, Rob. The appliances rescue a group of animals from a local veterinary clinic, where an evil supercomputer named Wittgenstein is planning to sell the animals to a lab. The story is filled with adventure and suspense as the appliances work together to save the day.

The film was produced by Hyperion Studio and distributed by Walt Disney Home Video. It was directed by Robert C. Ramirez and produced by Donald Kushner, Thomas L. Wilhite, and John Bush. John Loy wrote the screenplay while David Newman composed the music. Computer animation was used for the facial expressions of the appliances and the city traffic in the opening sequence.
