About Buso Renkin

Buso Renkin is an anime television series that aired in 2006, based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Nobuhiro Watsuki. The series, filled with action and adventure, presents the story of high school student Kazuki Muto who is killed one night saving a mysterious girl from a monster, only to wake up and realize it was a dream. However, he soon finds out that it wasn't a dream when he is attacked again by the monster and the girl, Tokiko Tsumura, revives him using a magical medallion that creates a weapon, the Buso Renkin, in its user's body.

Making / Production

The anime, produced by Xebec and directed by Takao Kato, premiered on TV Tokyo on October 4, 2006. The series was subsequently licensed by Viz Media for distribution in English in North America. The series introduces exciting, vibrant characters and includes elements of comedy, drama, and romance, along with intense battle sequences.

Actors
