Released in 2002, Cadet Kelly is a charming teen comedy movie produced by Disney Channel Original Movie. The plot involves Kelly Collins (Hilary Duff), a free-spirited and creative fourteen-year-old girl whose life takes an unexpected turn when her mother marries Sir Joe Maxwell (Gary Cole), the Commandant of a military academy. Kelly is enrolled in the academy where she struggles to adapt to the rigorous discipline of military life and clashes with the stern Cadet Captain, Jennifer Stone (Christy Carlson Romano).
