About A Certain Magical Index

A Certain Magical Index is a notable anime series that aired in 2008. The plot revolves around a world where supernatural abilities are the norm. In this world, the protagonist Kamijo meets Index, a young girl who has memorized the entirety of the forbidden grimoires, and their lives are forever changed. With several competing factions looking to exploit Index's knowledge, Kamijo finds himself protecting Index from the forces that would use her and hurt her.

Making/Production

The series is based on the light novel series of the same name by Kazuma Kamachi and Kiyotaka Haimura. The anime adaptation was directed by Hiroshi Nishikiori and produced by the studio J.C. Staff. The series aired a total of 24 episodes.
