About Charlie's Angels
Released in 2019, Charlie's Angels is an action comedy film directed by Elizabeth Banks. It's the third installment in the Charlie's Angels film series based on Charlie's Angels television series from the 1970s. The film follows a new generation of Angels who are working for the secretive private detective agency known as the Townsend Agency. Equipped with the latest high-tech gadgets and weapons, the Angels are called into action when a young systems engineer, Elena, informs them about a dangerous technology that could potentially be weaponized if it falls into the wrong hands.

Elizabeth Banks served as the director, writer, and co-producer of the film. The film was produced by Columbia Pictures, Perfect World Pictures, 2.0 Entertainment and Brownstone Productions. Filming took place from September to December 2018 in locations that included Germany and Turkey. It was released on November 15, 2019.
