"Cheers" is an American sitcom that originally ran on NBC from September 30, 1982, to May 20, 1993, with a total of 275 half-hour episodes across eleven seasons. Set in a bar "Cheers" in Boston, the show revolves around a group of locals, who meet to drink, relax, and socialize. The series showcases hilarious antics, friendly quarrels, and romance taking place within the confines of the bar.

Making/Production

The show was produced by Charles/Burrows/Charles Productions in association with Paramount Network Television, and was created by the team of James Burrows, Glen Charles, and Les Charles. The show was set in Boston because the creators believed it to be a city that was "rich in history, tradition, and sports success".

Actors
