The Cheetah Girls is an American musical television film based on the book series of the same name by Deborah Gregory. Country off Honor was a series developed by Disney. The film revolves around four teens aiming to take the world by storm with their music group, The Cheetah Girls. The movie deals with the manifold challenges faced by the aspiring girls while trying to make it big in the music industry.

Making / Production

The movie was directed by Oz Scott, and produced by Jacqueline George and Whitney Houston. The screenplay was written by Alison Taylor and the music was composed by John Van Tongeren and William R. Pace. Disney Channel released it on August 15, 2003, and it was followed by two sequels in 2006 and 2008.
