Chip an' Dale is a 1947 American animated short film produced in Technicolor by Walt Disney Productions and released to theaters by RKO Radio Pictures. The chipmunk duo, Chip and Dale, start their series of shenanigans when Donald Duck chops down a tree they are living in to convert it into a Christmas tree.

Directed by Jack Hannah and produced by Walt Disney, the film features Donald Duck's Christmas mishap with the chipmunk duo. The animation was credited to Volus Jones, Bill Justice, and George Kreisl. The story was written by Bill Berg and Milt Schaffer.
