"Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" is a 2004 American teen musical comedy film directed by Sara Sugarman and produced by Robert Shapiro and Mathew Hart. The screenplay was written by Gail Parent And is based on the young adult novel of the same name by Dyan Sheldon.

The story revolves around the eventful life of Mary "Lola" Steppe (Lindsay Lohan), a teenager who is convinced that her home city revolves around her until her family packs up and moves to New Jersey. The drama queen of the title, Lola does everything in her power to reclaim her status while battling the popular girl Carla Santini (Megan Fox).

The film was made under the production of Buena Vista Pictures and was released in theaters nationwide on February 20, 2004. Despite mixed critical reviews, it was a box office success, grossing over $33 million worldwide.
