D3: The Mighty Ducks is a 1996 American sports comedy-drama film directed by Robert Lieberman. It is the third and final installment in The Mighty Ducks trilogy and brings the story of a rag-tag team of amateur ice hockey players to a close. The plot sees the Ducks being awarded scholarships to a prestigious prep school, only to struggle with a new coach's harsh critique. Overcoming these obstacles, they mature into a professional, disciplined team.
