About Dance With Me

Dance With Me, released in 1998, is a romantic dance drama movie. The movie revolves around a young Cuban named Rafael (played by Chayanne), who comes to Houston, Texas, to meet his father's family after his mother's death. In an attempt to get close to his father, Rafael starts working at his father's dance studio, where he meets a professional dancer, Ruby (played by Vanessa Williams). Fall in love with each other but they have to face numerous obstacles before they can be together.

The movie was directed by Randa Haines, the director of widely praised 'Children of a Lesser God'. The Dance sequences are choreographed by multi-award winning choreographer, Liz Imperio and Peggy Holmes.
