"Deadliest Catch" is an American reality television series produced by Original Productions. The series first premiered on April 12, 2004, on the Discovery Channel. The show follows life on "The Bering Sea" where crab fishermen spend fishing seasons on the rough-and-tumble waters off the coast of Alaska. These fishermen battle Arctic weather, brutal waves, and a ticking clock for a chance at big money in this modern-day gold rush.
