About The Devil is a Part-Timer!

"The Devil is a Part-Timer!" is a Japanese light novel series written by Satoshi Wagahara, with illustrations by Oniku. It was adapted into an anime television series in 2013. The story revolves around Satan, who is working part-time at a fast food restaurant in the modern-day Tokyo, after being stranded in the human world because of a skirmish in his world.

Making / Production

The anime series was directed by Naoto Hosoda and written by Masahiro Yokotani. The series was produced by White Fox and was broadcasted in Tokyo between April and June 2013. Later, the series was licensed by Funimation for release in North America.

Actors

  • Ryōta Ōsaka voiced Sadao Maou, the Devil King who now works part-time in a fast-food restaurant. He portrayed the character with a unique blend of dignity and comical relief.
