Dexter is a popular American television series released in 2006. It revolves around the life of Dexter Morgan, a forensic blood spatter analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department, who lives a secret parallel life as a vigilante serial killer, hunting down murderers who have slipped through the cracks of the justice system.

Making / Production

The show was developed by James Manos Jr. It is based on the novel 'Darkly Dreaming Dexter' by Jeff Lindsay. Running for eight successful seasons from 2006 to 2013, it was produced by John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Scott Buck and others, under Showtime Networks Inc. and distributed by CBS Television Distribution.
