Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul is a 2017 American live-action/animated road comedy film directed by David Bowers. It's the fourth installment in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid film series, and is based on the ninth and tenth books in the series, The Long Haul and Old School by Jeff Kinney. The movie follows Greg Heffley, whose plan to attend a video gaming convention is underestimated when his parents force him to go on a family road trip.

The film was produced by Color Force and distributed by 20th Century Fox. Unlike the first three films in the series, none of the original cast members returned for the fourth installment, leading to a complete recasting.
