About Digimon Adventure 02

Digimon Adventure 02 is the second anime television series in the Digimon franchise, a sequel to the original Digimon Adventure. Set three years after the first season, new and familiar DigiDestined children with special Digivices aid Digimon living in the digital world to combat evil digital beings, while dealing with a human antagonistic group known as the Digimon Emperor. The series features themes of friendship, teamwork, and the digital vs. the real world conflict.

Digimon Adventure 02 was produced by Toei Animation, continuing the animated series franchise. The series was directed by Hiroyuki Kakudō, written by Atsushi Maekawa, with music by Takanori Arisawa. It aired from April 2, 2000, to March 25, 2001, on the Fuji Television network in Japan.
