About Digimon Adventure

Digimon Adventure, released in 1999, is a popular Japanese anime television series created by Akiyoshi Hongo and produced by Toei Animation. The plot primarily follows seven children who are transported to the 'Digital World', a parallel universe where digital creatures, Digimon, live. As the children befriend Digimons and become 'DigiDestined', they embark on exciting adventures to combat evil forces and save both the digital and real world.

Making / Production

Digimon Adventure was created by the Japanese animation company, Toei Animation, and was aired on the Fuji Television network. The series was directed by Mamoru Hosoda, a highly acclaimed anime producer and director.
