About Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist

"Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist" is a supernatural horror film that was released in 2005. Directed by Paul Schrader, the movie is a prequel to the 1973 film "The Exorcist". The plot revolves around the story of a young Father Merrin facing true evil for the first time in Africa after World War II. The conflict and association with the demonic possession of a young boy in a remote village lead to the events of the original movie, 'The Exorcist'.

Making / Production
