About Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!

Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who! is an animated adventure and comedy film released in 2008 by Blue Sky Studios and 20th Century Fox Animation. It captures Dr. Seuss's vibrant and distinctive illustrations, with a plot revolving around a loveable and eccentric elephant named Horton living in the Jungle of Nool. One day, Horton hears a faint sound coming from a small speck floating by. He soon realizes that an entire city named Whoville, inhabited by microscopic creatures known as 'Whos,' exists on this tiny speck. Despite disbelief and ridicule from the other jungle creatures, Horton takes it upon himself to ensure safety of the speck, championing the quote "A person's a person, no matter how small."

Making / Production

The directors of the movie are Jimmy Hayward and Steve Martino. It took approximately four years to complete the production, with the animation team meticulously mirroring Dr. Seuss's signature drawing style. John Powell and the legendary Hans Zimmer composed the film's captivating and whimsical musical score.

Actors
