Dr. STONE is a Japanese anime series that premiered in 2019. The show, based on the manga series of the same name written by Riichiro Inagaki, is a unique blend of science and adventure. The storyline revolves around a cataclysmic event that petrifies the entire human population worldwide, leaving the protagonist, Taiju, and his friend, Senku, to reawaken and revive the civilization using science.

Making / Production

Dr. STONE was animated by TMS Entertainment and directed by Shinya Iino. The series was written by Yuichiro Kido and the character designs were provided by Yuko Iwaoka. The production spanned two seasons with 24 episodes in the first season and 11 episodes in the second season.
