About Drag SOS

'Drag SOS' is a unique British reality television series, first premiered in 2019 on Channel 4. The show is all about self-expression, self-confidence, and celebrating diversity. It revolves around the Britain's top drag troupe known as The Family Gorgeous who goes on a mission around the country to inject some much needed glitter, glamour and self-love into the everyday people’s lives. In each episode, the troupe transforms someone into a fabulous drag queen, helping them unlock their hidden confidence and empowering them to be their true selves.

Produced by British production company, Optomen Television, 'Drag SOS' was filmed on various locations throughout the UK. The show creators approach of capturing the raw emotions of participants and using humor to address their vulnerabilities, paints a cultural picture of the modern British society with a backdrop of glittery drag culture.
