About Durarara!!x2

Durarara!!x2 is the sequel to the original anime series Durarara!!, continuing the story set in Ikebukuro district of Tokyo. The series, woven around urban legends, gang conflicts, and supernatural events, unfolds with intricate character developments and interwoven plots.

Making/Production

Produced by Shuka studio and directed by Takahiro Omori, Durarara!!x2 follows the same successful formula as its predecessor, blending mystery and action in an urban setting. The storytelling is serialized over three "cours" named Shou, Ten, and Ketsu. The script was mainly written by Noboru Takagi, with character designs by Takahiro Kishida.

Actors

  • Hiroshi Kamiya as Izaya Orihara - delivered a complex portrayal of the cunning information broker.
  • Ono Daisuke as Shizuo Heiwajima – brought depth to the character known for his inhuman strength and volatile temper.
