'From Dusk Till Dawn' is a 1996 American action-horror film directed by Robert Rodriguez and written by Quentin Tarantino. The movie follows two brothers and criminals, Seth and Richard Gecko, who on the run after a bank robbery gone wrong, take a family hostage to cross into Mexico. But they find themselves in for more than they bargained for when they stop by at a strip club that happens to be a hive of vampires. Now, they must survive till dawn to escape.

'From Dusk Till Dawn' was shot over a span of 10 weeks and unlike many of Rodriguez’s other films, most of the shooting was done at practical locations in California and Nevada, rather than his studios in Texas. The film features heavy prosthetic and makeup effects, seen primarily in the scenes involving the vampire transformations.
