About Dying Of The Light

Released in 2014, Dying Of The Light is a thrilling drama movie directed by Paul Schrader. It tells the story of a career officer of the CIA, Evan Lake, who is forced into retirement when he begins a problematic decline due to early-onset Alzheimer's. When he discovers evidence that his nemesis, terrorist Muhammad Banir, isn't dead as presumed but is receiving medical treatment, Lake embarks on a rogue mission, recruiting a young agent to help him bring Banir to justice.

Making/Production

The film was developed by Paul Schrader, who directed and wrote the screenplay. Due to some creative differences concerning the final cut privilege, the director disowned the film, stating that the released version differs significantly from his intended cut.
